Let's have a look at the female reproductive system. They comprises of:
  • ovaries - the two organ that release an egg cell every month.
  • vagina - the muscular tube that allows the penis to enter during sex, allows the flow of sperms to fertilize the egg and also allows baby to pass through during childbirth.
  • fallopian tubes - a pair of tubes that connects ovary to the uterus.
  • uterus - the organ also known as womb, responsible for the fertilized egg to be implanted and grow into a baby.
  • vulva - the outer part that protects the opening of the vagina and the opening of the bladder known as urethra.
In this interactive science worksheet, you get to label and match the parts of the female reproductive system to their characteristics.
